About the Author:
Massimo Faggioli received his PhD from the University of Turin (Italy) in 2002. Dr. Faggioli is Associate Professor in the Theology Department and director of the Institute for Catholicism and Citizenship at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul (Minnesota). He is the author, among other books, of Vatican II: The Battle for Meaning (Paulist Press, 2012), True Reform. Liturgy and Ecclesiology in "Sacrosanctum Concilium" (Liturgical Press, 2012), Sorting Out Catholicism: Brief History of the New Ecclesial Movements (Liturgical Press, 2014), John XXIII: The Medicine of Mercy (Liturgical Press, 2014), and A Council for the Global Church.
