Reviews
Liederman, founder of David's Cookies, has written this book with the intention of providing a useful guide for the potential entrepreneur. He attempts to give practical information regarding financing, scouting location sites, drawing up business plans, dealing with landlords, partners, accountants, etc. To illustrate his points he draws upon his own experience in establishing his cookie and restaurant businesses. Unfortunately, his examples are so frequent and so self-promoting that much of his potentially useful information gets lost in the shuffle. The reader comes away from the book much more knowledgeable about Liederman, his likes and dislikes, celebrity friends, and future ventures, than about how to establish a business. Not recommended.
