Currency devaluation reduces individual wealth whileenriching political heirarchy, argue the authors. Such a "currency recall," secret and sudden, lies ahead for Americans, we are cautioned here, ostensibly to foil counterfeiters and flush out a tax-dodging underground economy. In their erratic economic and financial survey, the authors come out flatly for repeal of the Sixteenth (income tax) Amendment and a return to the gold standard. Meanwhile, what can the individual investor do? Invest carefully in stocks and buy antique coins recommend the authors in this alarmist book.
