I just finished Snowball, extraordinary biography of an extraordinary man - Warren Buffett. One of the strangest things about the book was the revelation that Warren was addicted to "Helicopter", a computer game. I am not a game guy. My wife is. Solitaire. No further comment about that as she reads my blog. Anyway, I was intrigued that Warren could waste time doing that. So, I Googled it and came up with a free link! The game came right up and I messed with it a bit. Here's this Helicopter and it goes up and down. Cute little propeller. If it goes up too far, it crashes. Too low and you crash. Get complacent and hold it steady and a thingie rares up and you crash. If you have the skills and patience, which Warren apparently does, you can fly merrily along avoiding the dangers of the flying life. You win. You live. So, if you can't make the money Warren does, maybe you can entertain yourself like he does. Click here for your free Helicopter game. As for me, "Bah! Humbug!" Playing the market is more fun, though I'm no more skillful at that than I am at Helicopter.
