Paula Roth has been an advocate for alcohol and drug prevention and treatment for young and adult women for over twenty years. She sees alcohol and drug issues as being intricately woven into other health, social, political, and empowerment issues for women and children. She has designed and directed community-based and national alcohol and drug prevention and treatment programs, appeared on radio and television, and written articles on addiction-related issues. She is the Director of the Women's Alcohol and Drug Education project of the Women's Action Alliance.
