About the Author
Alastair Duncan was one of the world's foremost authorities on Art Deco and twentieth-century decorative arts. A longtime specialist and former head of the 20th-Century Decorative Arts department at Christie's New York, he helped shape modern understanding of Art Deco through decades of scholarship, connoisseurship, and market expertise. Duncan authored numerous influential books on the movement, including Art Deco, American Art Deco, Art Deco Furniture, and Art Deco Complete.
