Illustrated throughout with color & b & w photos and decorative patterns of Broadhurst's wallpaper designs (for which she was famous). Includes a catalog of designs in color and an index. Broadhurst (1899-1977) established a music/dance cultural center (Broadhurst Academy) in Shanghai in 1926. She traveled widely in her life, produced 114 landscape paintings, taught design, printmaking, and sculpture in Sydney. She was murdered (possibly by a serial killer of older women) but her murder was never solved. She was world famous for her wallpaper designs and many of her silkscreens are still in use.
