Provides information on health problems caused by food allergies and how to deal with them

Food allergies are at issue here. Braly's thesis is that the foods people eat often are responsible for their fatigue, headaches, and other illnesses and conditions. And what's worse, according to Braly, is that an "allergic/addiction habit" is formed: people may crave the foods they're allergic to. An entire program of diet and nutritional supplementation is provided, along with discussion of what the allergic/addiction syndrome is and how to end its cycle, and background nutritional information. Unfortunately, the reading is somewhat tedious, and there's a great deal of self-diagnosis involved. Most likely, only libraries seeking the entire spectrum of "how to diet/feel better" books will want to purchase. Carol Spielman Lezak, General Learning Corp., Highland Park, Ill.
