About the Author

Samuel A. Hay is a professor of theatre arts and Interim Chair of the Department of Speech, Communication, and Theatre Arts at North Carolina A & T State University. A Ph.D. from Cornell University, he is the author of African American Theatre: A Historical and Critical Analysis.
