About the Author:

Bruce Nissen is the program director at the Center for Labor Research and Studies at Florida International University. He is the author of Fighting for Jobs (State University of New York Press, 1995). He coedited the anthologies Grand Designs (ILR Press, 1993) and Theories of the Labor Movement (Wayne State University Press, 1987), and edited U.S. Labor Relations 1945-1989 (Garland Publishing, Inc., 1990).
