About the Author:
Joyce Ann Zimmerman, C.PP.S., is the director of the Institute for Liturgical Ministry in Dayton, Ohio; founding editor and columnist for Liturgical Ministry; and a past advisor to the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on the Liturgy. She is also an adjunct professor of liturgy, liturgical consultant, and frequent facilitator of workshops and days of recollection on liturgy. She has published numerous scholarly and pastoral liturgical works. She holds civil and pontifical doctorates of theology.

Thomas A. Greisen, a priest of the Archdiocese of Omaha, is the director of spiritual formation for lay ministry for the archdiocese, a spiritual director, and an associate pastor. He has been the director of spiritual formation for college seminarians and a professor of spirituality. He holds graduate degrees in theology and spirituality.

Kathleen Harmon, S.N.D. de N., is the music director for programs of the Institute for Liturgical Ministry in Dayton, Ohio, and the author of the Music Notes column for Liturgical Ministry. An educator and musician, she facilitates liturgical music workshops and cantor formation programs, teaches private voice lessons, and is a past parish music director. She holds a graduate degree in music and is completing doctoral studies in liturgy.

Thomas L. Leclerc, M.S., has been an associate pastor in parishes in Georgia and Connecticut, and has been involved with adult education in the Archdioceses of Atlanta and Boston. He is a professor of theology at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and holds a doctorate of theology in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament.
