These two books deal with drugs and alcohol abuse in the workplace and the responsibilities and implications for managers. Coulson, a specialist in arbitration, has analyzed 59 cases and comments extensively on the facts and legal precedents established by these decisions. Campbell and Graham have compiled a thorough guidebook for managers facing these problems. They use an easy-to-understand format interspersed with excerpts from case histories and policy statements. The authors of both books set out to define the problem and establish parameters to assist managers.
