It focuses on a one semester class of linear programming, matrices and applications, or sometimes called matrix algebra. Three parts: Matrices, Linear programming, and Advanced matrix applications. Particularly lengthy treatment of linear programming formulation. High school algebra is the only prerequisite, practical applications receive emphasis, and introduction to computer-related applications. Probability concepts are not included except in sections dealing with game theory and Markov chains.
