Emily and the other four members of the Canal Street Club aim to win the prize for highest sales (highest gross, might one say?) at the school fair by exhibiting the toe, and, in the bargain, defeat their arch rivals, the cutesy and oppressive Bunny Bigalow and Violetta Epstein. After the predictable zany chaos at the fair, outrageous humor rules even longer, when Emily's father requests proper disposition of his former toe and a barbecue-grill cremation is arranged.
