This book consists of a four-phase evaluation of the Individually Guided Education system, an innovative program developed in the late 1960s to bring individualized attention to children's learning needs. It explores why, despite national implementation efforts and widespread adoption in the 1970s, the IGE system has faded from the educational scene. Co-published with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research.
