This brief poem, in Persian and English translation, is a prophesy of depth and delicacy, moving beyond mere description of Sufi love to engage the reader in the reality of its essence.
The following passage is taken from page 30.
The tranquillity of the true human heart is glorious,
Life emerges only from Life.
No-thing can be other than what it is.
Whatever is, always has been and will be forever.
There can be but One Eternal,
Not arising from anything and unchangeable,
Because of the oneness in appearance and essence, it must be stable.
