About the Author:
Eduard Mira (Valencia, 1945), es doctor en Geograf a e Historia. Ha sido profesor de Sociolog a en la Universidad de Alicante, profesor visitante en el Colegio de Europa (Brujas) e investigador invitado en el Fitzwillian College y en el Gonville and Caius College en la Universidad de Cambridge y en el King's College, en la Universidad de Londres. Ha sidomiembro del Colegio de Expertos en Patrimonio Cultural del Consejo de Europa y ha ejercido de director del Instituto Cervantes en N poles y en Bruselas. Es miembro de la Academia Valenciana de la Lengua (AVL). Ha publicado dos libros de narraciones cortas en castellano: Primer libro de las cr nicas perdidas y Cr nicas perdidas; la novela Salta Lenin elatlas, finalista del premio La Sonrisa Vertical; en catal n-valenciano Escacs de mort (ganadora del premio de narrativa Alfons el Magn nim en 2009) y Les tribulacions d'un espia vell, que ahora traducimos al castellano.
