She's content to stay in the past and marry Michael Winters . . . until she discovers the shocking secret of his mysterious locked room. "A Cold Day In Paradise" by Kathryn Hockett

On the hundredth anniversary of a dashing outlaw's execution, newswoman Christina Phillips is preparing a documentary about him. Little does she know that she's about to find herself in 1899, where she'll meet--and fall in love with--Lance Meredith himself! But can she save him from the hangman's noose?

From Lisa Plumley's "Winter Song" -- A TIMELESS KISS

Jolie sighed, looking Cole over again. Maybe if she was really lucky, she mused, this wish-come-true business was her big chance to prove herself. To herself. And to him. And maybe her reward in the end would be the kind of love she'd wished for while playing an incredible song on an impossibly powerful piano.

Or maybe she'd just gone around the bend. After all, Jolie told herself, you know perfectly well you never even learned to play the piano.

Or even to read music.

"Hmmm?" Cole prompted. His gaze lowered to her lips . . . and lingered in a way that sent her pulse through the roof.

Wowsers. He still meant to kiss her! The gentle upward tilt of her face in his hand left no doubt of that. So did the slow, seductive way he drew her closer.

Their bodies pressed together beneath the quilt, defying the wintry weather--and common sense, too. Jolie had never fallen for a man this quickly. Had never even considered kissing someone she'd met only hours before.

Until now.
