The 13 papers, by theoreticians and practitioners in the two fields, have been revised and polished for publication, and discuss such aspects as geometric modeling, computational topology, computational metrology, geometric constraint solving, part immobilizations, geometric aspects of machining, layered manufacturing, and algebraic methods.
