About the Author
Ray Villard is News Director for the Space Telescope Science Institute and author of "Large Telescopes Inside and Out "(2001). The astronomical artwork of Lynette R. Cook, formerly the Artist/Photographer for the Morrison Planetarium at the California Academy of Sciences, has been exhibited around the world at major museums, research centers, and universities; published in many newspapers and books; and featured in television documentaries.
