Review

I find this an absolutely essential research tool. The best proof I can give is that I have room for exactly three books on opera in the tiny book shelf on my PC work-station, and that this is one of them.
–Tom Kaufman, The Opera Quarterly, summer 2002

This effort surpasses the first edition in content, quality, and design.
–Choice

An essential reference tool for all academic libraries as well as public libraries.
