About the Author
Joseph Ritchie has written a number of books for CandyCane Press, including several Peter Cottontail titles and several Baby Looney Tunes titles. His lifelong love of words is evident in the whimsical and engaging text.
Lydia Halverson was born in Italy and grew up in Chicago. She began her career designing books, but she became fascinated with children's illustrations and decided that was what she wanted to do. Lydia has illustrated a wide range of children's stories for a number of publishers. She now lives in a hundred-year-old house in Evanston, Illinois, with her husband and their cat.
