About the Author

Regina Miller, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education, the Director of Project HELP (Hartford Early Learning Partnership) and the Director of the Early Childhood Center at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. As the founding director of the center she has been responsible for many different aspects within the program including philosophy development, curriculum design, and development of the teacher training models and materials. A noted lecturer and author Ms. Miller is a member of many professional organizations including the National Association for the Educaiton of Young Chidlren, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Childhood Education International.
