Synopsis

This book prepares Automotive Technology students for ASE tests in all eight areas of automotive certification. All of the ASE tasks and explanations are listed in the book followed by an ASE-style question based on the task. Each chapter begins with a pretest to provide the student with an indication of the amount of study required to pass the ASE test. As in the ASE tests, some questions are are accompanied by illustrations. The text includes a glossary to assist the student in defining difficult terms.

About the Author

Don Knowles is the owner and manager of Knowles Automotive Training in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Canada. He is a member of several organizations such as Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) the Service Technicians Society (STS) North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) and Council of Advanced Automotive Trainers (CAAT). He is an ASE Master Technician Automotive and he is an ASE advanced Engine Performance LI certified.
