About the Author

Robert D. Smith is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain Connecticut. His manufacturing industry experience includes work as a tool designer quality control engineer and chief manufacturing engineer. He is also co-author of Delmar's bestselling Mathematics for Machine Technology book.
