Synopsis

Children are experiential learners, acquiring knowledge through play, experimentation, exploration, and discovery. Moving and Learning Across the Curriculum gives children opportunities to understand concepts and themes common to the major content areas in the way that they learn best - by physically experiencing the concepts. The book's 315 activities and games are organized by the content areas of art, language, mathematics, music, science, and social studies. This is a one of a kind resource for educators who understand movement as a learning tool!
