About the Author

Joshua R. Jacobson holds an M.A. degree in Choral Conducting from the New England Conservatory of Music and a Ph.D. in Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati. He is professor of music and director of choral activities at Northeastern University. In addition, he is an adjunct professor of Jewish music at Hebrew College in Boston.
