About the Author

Jim Shaughnessy is a retired civil engineer and photographer. He lives in Troy, New York. Jeff Brouws is the author of three other books on railroading, including "A Passion for Trains: The Railroad Photography of Richard Steinheimer". He lives in Stanfordville, New York.
