About the Author:
Tom Fettke holds degrees from Oakland City College and California State University at Hayward. He has taught music in both public and Christian schools and has served as a church choir director and minister of music in churches large and small for over 30 years. He is in considerable demand as a guest conductor, clinician, and worship leader. Tom is also a composer, arranger, and producer of music and recordings for the contemporary Christian church and has been associated with Lillenas Publishing Company since 1973. He and his wife, Jan, have two married sons and seven grandchildren. Mosie Lister, one of the outstanding Gospel composers of our day, began serious songwriting for Gospel groups in the late 1940s and in 1948 became the arranger for the renowned Statesmen. In 1953 Mosie began publishing his songs under the banner of Mosie Lister Publications, merging with Lillenas in 1969. He was elected to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1976. Mosie’s latest works include Alive in Christ, The Old Gospel Ship, Bring Us Back, His Name Is Jesus and Then I Met the Master. Camp Kirkland graduated from Florida State University with Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees, and went on to teach band at the elementary, secondary and collegiate levels. He has performed on euphonium and trombone with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra,River City Brass Band and a number of touring bands and orchestras. Camp is best known for his pioneer work in reestablishing instrumental music as a viable medium in today’s church. His position as Instrumental Director at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville was the first of its kind. With several hundred choral and instrumental publications, Camp Kirkland remains a leader in the church orchestra growth phenomenon. He is also much in demand as a conductor and seminar clinician. Camp is currently a free lance composer and arranger residing with his wife, Fran, in Florida. Marty Parks received his Bachelor of Music at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a director of worship ministries for many years, and has created and arranged many works for Lillenas Publishing Company. He and his wife, Vicki, have four children, Brandt, Jarrod, Stanford, and Sarah Beth. Richard Kingsmore received a BM degree in Music Theory and Arranging from the University of Alabama in 1982, followed by further studies in arranging and composition from Alabama and the Eastman School of Music. He has performed on keyboard with Truth and as a free lance musician for Disney World and other theme parks and resorts in the Orlando, Florida, area. Kingsmore has worked as Music Associate in churches in Virginia, Alabama, Texas, and currently at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he resides with his wife Gina. He is in demand as a free lancer arranger/orchestrator.
