The purpose of this book is to make sense out of English grammar through the study of Latin grammar. It introduces the major parts of speech one at a time, English in one chapter and then the Latin counterpart in the next. It is helpful but not absolutely necessary to have had an introduction to Latin. There is also opportunity for practice with ample additional exercises in each chapter.
