Library director Brown has written two previous books on library interior design and furnishings. Here she provides information relevant to planning new and expanded library buildings and to renovating existing library spaces. She speaks to library planners, architects and designers who have not built libraries before, and for architects interested in a librarian's perspective on library interior design.
