The New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible improves upon the original volume in a number of significant ways. An entirely new computer-generated typesetting provides an easy-to-read text set in modern type, insures even greater completeness and accuracy then the original edition, gives an opportunity to correct errors that remain to this day in all other editions, and allows for a number of improvements in design and format. Scripture references are placed between the context line and the reference number to the Hebrew or Greek Dictionary, making it easier to use all the features of the concordance. Variant spellings of proper names from modern versions have been cross-referenced into the body of the concordance. This is done so that readers of these versions might be able to use Strong's while searching for references to words that do not appear in the King James Version. Thus, the person who uses the Revised Standard Version, the New International Version, or the New American Standard Bible, for instance, and looks up the word Abronah-which appears in these versions- will be directed to Ebronah- the King James Version. To further aid the Bible student, entry words that refer to more then one person or place (such as the entry "Joseph," which refers to twelve separate individuals) have been defined, and the content lines have been arranged in biblical order under the proper sub-entry. Furthermore, the Appendix to the Main Concordance has been reset in a new format that allowed for corrections to be made and considerable space to be saved, this Comparison Chart provides the student with the most complete chart of the best-known and theologically important verses in the Bible ever assembled. The dictionaries to the Hebrew and Greek texts have been presented as originally published. No section from the original Strong's has been eliminated; new materials have been added and existing materials have been updated and improved.

The New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible is nothing short of exhaustive. Weighing in at nearly six pounds, this research tool is the revised edition of the legendary classic that generations have come to depend on for biblical research. Nothing has been omitted from the original text published in 1890, but new supplementary material such as "The Laws of the Bible," "Teaching and Illustrations of Christ," and a "Harmony of the Gospels" has been added and existing material has been updated and improved. The "Topical Index" references thousands of verses relating to over 8,000 biblical subjects, names, places, things, concepts, events, and doctrines. In this main section of the concordance, scripture references are placed between a context line and the reference to either the Hebrew or Greek dictionary, making it easier to access all the features of the concordance at once. The most useful improvement is that variant spellings of proper names from modern versions have been cross-referenced. For instance, the person who uses the Revised Standard Version, the New International Version, or the New American Standard Version of the Bible can look up the modern word Abronah, which appears in these versions, and will be directed to Ebronah, the New King James spelling. A computer-generated typesetting, an obvious update from the first version, reads easily and provides design and format improvements.
