Synopsis

This new volume addresses the use of FTIR spectroscopy in characterizing the molecular structure of aggregates such as micelles and bilayers, and in studying interfaces and surfaces modified by the presence of polymers and amphiphilic molecules. An overview chapter reviews the wide range of colloidal systems and interfaces that can be studied by FTIR spectroscopy.
