Hardcover. xi, corrigenda leaf (tipped in), 573p., illustrated in b&w with a plethora of photos and drawings. An ex-library copy in good shape - hardbound in fine grey openweave cloth titled black and enclosed in the glossy unclipped dust jacket. Textpaper is alkaline semi-gloss. Dj once bore a spine numeral at the heel, which we have cleverly removed, but still bears marginal staining from the non-archival brodart protecting it (protected it well). Inside find a pocket, a "Withdrawn" stamp in red, and, on bottom edge of textblock, a dim stamp telling whence it came - and across top edge the same dim stamp with another red "Withdrawn" message. We normally discard ex-libs but this one we couldn't pass up; it is sound, with good hinges, and text is thoroughly clean and unmarked. Volume I is complete in itself, and covers dog, cattle and buffalo of Africa. Vol II (not in hand) would describe sheep, goat, pig, ass, horse and camel. Seller Inventory # 331212
