Synopsis
Computational Mathematics in Engineering and Applied Science provides numerical algorithms and associated software for solving a spectrum of problems in ordinary differential equations (ODEs), differential algebraic equations (DAEs), and partial differential equations (PDEs) that occur in science and engineering. About the Author
William E. Schiesser is the Emeritus R. L. McCann Professor of Chemical Engineering and a Professor of Mathematics at Lehigh University. He is also a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania and the co-author of the Cambridge book Computational Transport Phenomena.
