Synopsis
When the girl signs up for lessons at the quiet LOng Island flying school, David Lum recognizes her as someone he knew long ago, but under a different name. She is now alone, desparate to make a solo flight in less than two weeks, unwilling to reveal anything about herself. She and David are drawn toether with a fierce and poignant intensity, and when she dies, at the pilot's seat of the small plane she has indeed learnt to fly in just two weeks, he is determined to unfthom the mystery.
