A basic guide to pruning for the home gardener. Professional horticulturist Rodger Elliot believes that, when it comes to pruning, most of us fall into three distinct categories: the hackers, the snippers or the complete novice. This commonsense handbook provides clear direction and step-by-step illustrations designed to give the gardener confidence in pruning for improved plant health. Information is provided on pruning over 1000 different plant types, timing of pruning efforts and utilising best techniques.
