Synopsis
Arthur W. Pink, que pasó a la presencia del Señor en 1952, a los 66 años de edad, nació en Nottingham (Inglaterra). Hacia 1908 predicó su primer sermón. Más tarde ejerció el ministerio en los Estados Unidos, Canadá y Australia. En 1930 regresó a su país, y dedicó el resto de su vida a predicar y enseñar por medio de la página impresa. Fue uno de los mas, prolificos escritores cristianos del siglo XX. Escribió entre otros los siguientes libros: La vida de Elias, La vida de David, Comentario al Evangelio según san Juan, Comentario a la Epístola a los Hebreos, Comentario al Sermón del Monte, Espigando en Génesis, Las siete palabras del Salvador en la Cruz, La obra mediadora de Cristo, La doctrina de la santificación y La soberania de Dios. Durante más de treinta años, fue editor y único redactor de la revista mensual Estudios sobre las Escrituras, en la que publicó, en forma de artículos, Los atributos de Dios, primera de sus obras vertidas al castellano, a la cual habrían de seguir Elías y La soberanía de Dios.

About the Author
Arthur W. Pink has held various pastorates in the United States. He has been engaged in Bible conference work in the United States, Australia, and other countries and resided in Scotland up until the time of his death, July 15, 1952. Pink was the author of various books and booklets on Bible exposition, as well as the editor and publisher of a Bible study magazine, Studies in the Scriptures.
