Contains a vast amount of detailed data about Fokker's life and work and his aeroplanes, from the early Spiders to post-war Fokker machines. It corrects many erroneous beliefs and sets straight the record of the formative years of the great Dutchman, while paying belated honour to Reinhold Platz who designed the best of the Fokker aeroplanes of World War I and the most famous of the Fokker transport monoplanes.

This book is a reprint of the original after the death of the author, and is edited by J.M. Bruce. This book is in very good condition. The blue cloth boards are near fine, with light sunning to the bottom edge of the spine. The gilt titling to the spine is bright. The top edge of the closed text block has light foxing spots. Otherwise the pages are clean and the binding is tight. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with minor bumping to the edges and light sunning to the spine. The dust jacket is unclipped.
