The book covers all aspects of the tourism industry, including hospitality, transport--road, rail, air and sea, and ancillary services such as car rental, insurance, passport and visa services, and foreign currency. Entries vary from one-line definitions to 500 word articles. References are provided for further reading, and where possible, web site addresses are given for organizations. This volume is an essential reference tool for anyone involved in tourism research, and everyone in the travel industry.
