The Church of England, like its Catholic counterpart, is not without its failings. But for a chancer like Richard Walker, who discovers himself a part of this august institution, the possibilities are endless. Richard wants to ensure the future security of his family...but it comes with a price. He soon discovers all the hypocrisy and double standards that the Church would like to keep quiet, and those within its hallowed walls who, like him, are only out for themselves.

Book Description:

God really does help those who help themselves

From the Author:
UNHOLY ORDERS was inspired by my employment working for the Church of England, at their administrative headquarters of Church House Westminster London during the nineties. Anyone expecting just another religious expose of naughty vicars and suchlike is in for a disappointment. The book reveals a lot of shenanigans it is true enough, but these mostly centre around the anti-hero Richard Walker.
The Church of England itself is not without its failings. For years it was mismanaged to a large extent, so that no one person or committee knew exactly what it owned or did not own. A chancer like Richard Walker was in his element in such an environment. Only having secured his position within the hallowed corridors of this august institution by duplicity and subterfuge.

All the characters, and all the events depicted within my novel are based upon real people, and events that actually occurred during my time employed there. I have changed the dates and names to protect the innocent as well as the guilty.
From how the Church became landlords of more brothels in London than any gangster could dream about, to the great bookie swindle of the early nineties, utilising inside information by a group made up mostly of Church employees. It is all revealed within the covers of my book.
