Steven Trustrum has been a freelance role-playing game author since the late '90s, beginning with articles in the Rifter #1 through #5 for Palladium Books while he was still in University.
Frustrated with freelance work that paid upon publication resulting in wasted time as the publishers set aside projects he had contributed to, or having to chase down publishers for money that was owed him, Steven began his own small press game publishing company in 2003. Misfit Studios has been his principle creative outlet ever since.
Aside from writing games and related materials, Steven is also a professional copywriter, and has over a decade of market research and marketing experience. He now continues to write role-playing games, specializes in SEO and marketing content, and still has hopes of setting aside enough time to one day finish any of the many novels he has started writing.
