About the Author:

Rosemary Morgan is a Baptist lay preacher, writing from experience of infertility. From 2005 - 2009 she worked in Great Malvern Priory and retains links there; from 2006 to 2010 she was a Deacon at Malvern Baptist Church and she now attends Biggleswade Baptist Church.

I married late, on my 36th birthday, and consequently began 'trying for a baby' at an age when fertility is already dramatically decreasing. When nothing happened, I had a severe breakdown with the stress of it all. I wish I'd had this book then. I only had two years of the pain of infertility (though the birth of our 'miracle' son was not the end of our struggles!). For many, infertility is a much longer sentence, perhaps a lifetime one. In this valuable book, Rosemary Morgan travels that lonely path with women (and men) who long for a child but fear they will never reach the light at the end of the tunnel. With great compassion and also down to earth advice, she seeks for spiritual comfort in the experience of infertility and finds a God who is with us in all our frustration, jealousy, anger and despair. At last a Christian has written on this subject on which churches often keep an embarrassed silence. I hope many will find renewed strength, hope and acceptance in this book, and that as a result the topic will be one Christians feel free to talk about. Veronica Zundel
