Synopsis
Reproduced from the limited edition that was issued in 1980. Full color reprint of this manuscript executed by William Morris in a unique copy and given to Georgiana Burne-Jones for her birthday in 1870. Morris wrote the poems, copied them in his calligraphic hand and partially colored the manuscript. He also had Charles Fairfax Murray execute a drawing of Morris in color for the book, Edward Burne-Jones do one illustration, George Wardle do the ornamentation and bound in full vellum by Riviere. 14 pages followed by the 60 page full color facsimile. cloth, dust jacket..
