Synopsis
Graph technology is a useful tool for the efficient analysis of complex practical structures and is particularly suitable for computational mechanics. In this book, many concepts of graph theory are developed and applied to the formation of highly sparse structural matrices. The concepts presented are not only applicable to skeletal structures, but can equally well be used for the analysis of other systems such as hydraulic and electrical networks. The theory is illustrated by worked example and problems.
