The person that focuses these 251 pages was born in 1875 in Westmoreland County, New Brunswick. Read more about : the Eclectic Society at the Ladies College. Also: Miss Poirier, Pully, Chippie,Miss White, gaff-rigged sloop, Power of Calvary, and Shediac Bay. The cover photo of Sadie Harper was taken in 1895. A few b/w photographs accompany text. The journal begins in 1890 and the letters take us into 1915. Cond : Paper wrapper is cream coloured with green lettering and decoration. Colours bright , binding tight. No names nor marks. Front edge is worn or wrinkled. Excellent reading copy. Quote (p. 105) : " . without anything important happening. Such a time as we had over a mouse in my drawer last night.
