Richard A. LaFleur has taught since 1972 at the University of Georgia, where he served for 21 years as head of one of the largest Classics programs in North America and currently holds the chair of Franklin Professor of Classics. He has numerous textbooks and other publications in Latin language, literature, and pedagogy, was editor of The Classical Outlook for 25 years and president of the American Classical League 1984-1986, and has been recipient of more than one million dollars in grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and other agencies, and of state, regional, and national awards for teaching and professional service, including the American Philological Association's Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Classics.
Brad Tillery holds a BA and MEd from Georgia College and State University. He has been teaching since 1992, and is currently at North Oconee High School, in Bogart, Georgia. He is author or coauthor of several publications for the classroom, including, for Bolchazy-Carducci, Vocabulary Cards and Grammatical Forms Summary for Wheelock's Latin, Cumulative Vocabulary Lists for Wheelock's Latin, and Ovid Vocabulary Cards for AP Selections.
