This book is filled with strength and clarity of vision. Here are poems about individuals who have in their own way influenced the life and times of the American Southwest and West. These candid and truthful word portraits are a testimony to the poet-philosopher's sensitive response to people and places. Mr. Kloss shares with readers his unique gifts of insight and concern.
