About the Author
Storyteller and author John Stansfield began exploring western North America as a boy in 1960 and has never stopped. He loves hiking and skiing the West and telling stories about its diverse lands, wildlife and people. He presents a one-man show for all ages reenacting the life of Enos Mills. John is the author of two of the Now You Know Bio's from Filter Press. He teaches storytelling on the adjunct faculty of the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. John's efforts to protect and preserve Colorado's wild places earned the Environmental Heroes Award from the Widerness Society in 2004.
