Synopsis

Restorative approaches are described as alternative interventions to deep-seated modes of treatment. Emphasis in this approach is on risk assessment and decision making with regard to the patient's dietary habits, social status, ethnic background, and oral hygiene practices. Chapters are in sections on prevention and diagnosis and preservation and restoration of tooth tissues.
